Our Approach

At Geelong Therapy Co. we take a holistic approach to Occupational Therapy. We work with individuals, groups, and communities to support health and wellbeing through meaningful engagement in everyday activities.

These activities, often referred to as 'occupations', include anything that gives structure, purpose or identity to a person’s day. This might include self-care, daily living tasks, learning, working, or connecting with others.

Who We Work With

NDIS

We support NDIS participants with physical, psychosocial, or cognitive disabilities. We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants.

NDIS fees:

  • Occupational Therapy: $193.99 per hour (for plan- and self-managed participants)

  • Travel time: 50% of the hourly service rate, capped per NDIS travel guidelines based on appointment location

  • Kilometre rate: $1 per km

Privately paying clients

Private fees:

  • Occupational Therapy: $219.11 per hour incl. GST.

  • Travel time: Charged at the same hourly rate.

  • Kilometre rate: $1 per km.

What We Offer

Our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client and may include:

  • Functional Capacity Assessments

  • Skill building to support independent living

  • Home and Living Assessments, including SIL and SDA

  • Mental health occupational therapy

  • Support for forensic NDIS participants

  • Assistive technology assessments and prescription

  • Assessment and recommendations for home modifications
